In 1993, Cadell and Joyce Welch opened a
beauty salon with two tanning beds. They immediately learned
that everything they thought they knew about tanning was
from the "dark ages", so they started traveling to tanning
conventions from Little Rock, to Nashville, Chicago and Las
Vegas to learn more about the tanning process. In 16 years, JoyDell's has attended 15 National Tanning conventions, and
their education has paid off. They now have 2 locations with
40 tanning units. They have taken tanning to the ultimate level. And as for
knowledge, not only are they certified by the tanning
industry, but they require their staff to be trained and
certified as well. "Tell us why you are tanning and we will

JoyDell's at Regency Square was selected as
one of the Top 250 Salons in the Nation by "Looking Fit"
magazine in 2003, and in 2004, JoyDell's in White Hall won
this award. JoyDell's at Regency Square also received the
Pine Bluff Commercial "Readers Award" in 2003 and 2004.
To better serve JoyDell's Tanning Customers,
Regency Square Tanning Salon has been combined with Watson
Chapel's salon. Located on a main road with businesses
open until midnight, the Watson Chapel salon will be able to
open earlier and later.
